This audio file really dates the material doesn’t it? At the time of this recording, we were still using CD’s and I had never heard of a GPS. Maybe the M should be Make Your Way to the Office Supply and buy a GPS. Or maybe it should be Mr. Barry may not be aware there is a GPS on his phone. Another option might be Make notes in your computer or paper files about your show contacts.
One habit I presently use is to keep ALL my email records for the client within my file of the contract. I will send them the first page with all the program details but the rest of the pages are copies of all our email exchanges. This is probably old school compared to all the possible programs that do this. However, I simple begin each entry with either Rec 10-1-17 or Sent 10-1-17. I then copy and paste the contents of the email. This allows me to see a full record of all messages without going on a treasure hurt through all my email records. That’s where I am at this moment. A year from now all this data will probably be stored in our heads and we’ll press a button on our shirts to talk. Beam me up Scotty.

ABC's of Children's Magic - Quiet Closing
Of all the chapters on this album, quiet closing is the one that seems to have affected the most listeners. To my knowledge this concept had not been used before. When I shared it at the KIDabra lecture, where this CD was introduced, it seemed to be a stunner to the audience. I’m always excited to hear of people using it in their shows. I doubt many know that it originated on this CD, but I do. And I’ll keep quiet about it. Wink wink.
ABC's of Children's Magic - Radio Off
This habit has truly changed my life. I’ve accomplished a great deal of thinking and writing while on the road. For years I was aided in turning my radio off because it had been stolen. There is a great feeling of loss when someone breaks into your vehicle and steals your radio. For me, it was such a feeling of loss that I couldn’t replace the radio. I totally realize how silly that sounds. However, it’s true. I never replaced the radio. And I created A LOT of magic without the distraction.
