Peppermint Problem Poem
By Barry Mitchell
This is my peppermint problem.
I must confess to a broken mess.
When I went east . . . my feet went west.
What happened next was a slip and a flip.
With a giant thud . . . I landed upon my hip.
It was simply too late for goodness sake.
My cane did suffer . . . a horrible fate.
But then the sound of a snap and a tap,
Brought an end . . . to my sugary rap.
It’s the candy treat that can’t be beat,
When the cane and curve are made complete.
Peppermint problem no more.
